Finally! It’s been was too long since the last (which also happens to have been the first) shoutout when I told you how awesome Dark Rygen is. I know I said I wanted to do one of them a month – or more – but, y’know, life happens and before you know it, time slips past. Oops. But today, I’m back to tell you about another amazing person y’all should already know about. May I introduce…
– IN CASE YOU NEED REASONS TO BE A FAN –
Have you, by chance, seen this incredible show on Amazon called The Man in the High Castle? Or maybe an independent film I just discovered last night called Project: Eugenics? Maybe you caught an episode or two of Average Dicks? Perhaps you caught certain episodes of smash hits Supernatural or The Flash? If you haven’t, I truly pity you for you know not what you’re missing. Poor unfortunate souls.
Lee Shorten is a master of his craft and brings a striking authenticity to whatever role he inhabits, be it a samurai, minion or WWII era sergeant of the Japanese Empire in an alternate reality world. But his talent doesn’t stop there; he’s also a musician and was in several professional cover bands while in law school. Yes, I said law school. So on top of his other accomplishments, you can add that to his list of awesomeness.
Also, he’s super freaking nice. Seriously, hit him up on Twitter and you’ll end up in an actual conversation with, like, responses and stuff. When was the last time you got to talk with a celebrity and not just at them? It’s not often you get any kind of response from famous folk and it happens even less when they’re not the topic of discussion.
*There’ll be drawing here soon, maybe this weekend. Maybe.*
So go, right now, and be a fan; find him on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Also make sure to check out his IMDB and see what other places you can watch this star. You know you’re going to love him; I only ever endorse the best and Lee Shorten is just that.
