So I really, really, really want to see this movie Breaking Legs but due to a lack of funds, the nice and talented people working on it have yet to be able to finish it. And that is just not acceptable, y'all. In a world where some dude making potato salad can raise over $55K, why is it so dang hard for an indie movie - where the people involved are actually passionate about their bloody craft -raise $10K. That's a fifth of what potato salad due got. C'mon, y'all. Seriously.
Lee Ann Meriwether is in it! How can you not want to support a film that has Catwoman in it? Are ye daft? Everybody adores her so why isn't everybody throwing their money at the filmmakers and screaming take it all and make your movie! for just that one frikkin reason? Now, if for some reason that's not enough of a reason, Richard Riehle is also in it and that dude stared down Micheal Myers. What, you want more? Aaron Landon has Disney in his resume, Kayley Stallings' dog is a hero and did I mention Lee Ann Meriwether is in it!? And let's not forget about Liv Southard, Sarah Rochelle, William Leon, Alexa Sutherland, Maria Pallas, Lizz Carter and Timothy Brennen. And Lee Ann Meriwether!
No brainer here, folks.
So, you might be wondering what it's about and for that, I'll let them tell you:
After the death of her mother, high school freshman Bloom moves in with her hapless uncle (Mark Marchillo) and feeble grandma (Lee Meriwether). With little support and encouragement at her disposal, she struggles to find her footing while adjusting to small town life. A dancer by nature, Bloom (Liv Southard) is determined to find an outlet for her despair, but there's nowhere to dance in this backwoods town - except the school dance team! Just as she's trying to fit in, the boyfriend of the team’s captain falls for her, catapulting Bloom into the spotlight against her soon-to-be arch nemesis. Bloom will have to fight to win her place, not only on the team, but with her new family, even if she has to "break a leg". (From their Indiegogo page)
That not enough? How about the advanced trailer?
Okay, how are you still here and not there and giving monies so this thing can get finished?? Honestly, I don't mind if you skip out on the rest of this post if it means you're making this film happen - which, if you're not, boo on you. Now, watch the campaign video then head on over and give, give, give!
In the off chance you haven't run off to show some support for Breaking Legs and are just waiting til I'm done before you do so, you might as well check out some of the amazeballs people involved in the film on Twitter. Cause support there is also an awesome thing to show.

_And lookie here, we've even got some still from the film so you can see who you'll be helping achieve their dreams. And isn't that what life's about? Helping others up? That's what I was always taught. So why not do good and donate something - anything - to this worthy film.
For those who donated (or will within moments), you're awesome. Those who didn't... well, can't win 'em all.
