Music is a huge part of the Christmas season and because everything can be exploited, we have an abundance of Christmas songs out there to open presents to. Some are upbeat, techno-inspired remakes of classic carols while others are slow, sad songs that can bring a tear to your eye (if you have feels, that is). Here's my pick for the best of 'em.
Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas is You
Everyone knows this one; Mariah's plea to Santa to bring her her one true love. It's a monster hit every year for a reason. Honestly, both her Christmas albums are amazeballs so go grab 'em and enjoy. You're welcome.
Faith Hill's Where Are You Christmas?
What seems at first like a sad song is actually one of hope. A sweet melody and Hill's beautiful voice easily make this stand out from How the Grinch Stole Christmas a must play for the holiday.
The Carpenter's I'll Be Home For Christmas
There's a butt-ton of versions of this song but The Carpenter's version is my personal favorite. Unfortunately, there's no official video for it (at least that I could find) but the track is still all over YouTube.
Amy Grant's My Grown Up Christmas List
Another one that *might* get your feels feeling but still an excellent addition to any Christmas song collection.
Taylor Swift's Last Christmas
Another one with multiple versions. I got to go with Taylor Swift cause, really, how could you not? Again, and official video could not be found.
What're your faves?
