Within the gated community of Crescent Point, sex and betrayal comes as naturally as breathing. Those who live within its walls have no worries to call their own and move along life in blissful play but when a new face appears in town, everything they know will be turned upside down and lives will be altered in ways none of them ever imagined...
Drake stood on his bedroom balcony looking down at the mass of people occupying his backyard. Friends, strangers and the occasional enemy had shown up for the biggest party of the year; most were simply eager to be seen at the Kipson mansion as the paparazzi had crashed their parties in the past. He smiled coyly at the sight.Sad little sheep, he mused silently. Why did my dear sister bother inviting you pathetic lemmings and wannabes? At least there will be a nice audience for tonight's planned entertainment. He backed into his room and gently closed the French doors.
“Done people watching, Drake? Your guests are waiting for you.” Samantha stood leaning against the door frame, her arms across her chest. “Care to join them?” Her tone expressed her impatience.
“In time, Samantha. Let them all enjoy themselves. Once we show up, some of them will no longer feel like partying.”
“You really think Henry hooked up with Dani the other night, don't you?”
“And just how can you be so damn sure? Cause I don't think she'd do that to me.”
“Perhaps you do not know the girl as well as you would like to believe? We all have those hidden sides.”
“No, Drake. Not everyone is like you.”
Drake walked towards her, his arms outstretched. “Yes they are, dear sister. They just do not want to admit it.”
Samantha recoiled and backed away. “Just stop, Drake.”
“I am only trying to prepare you. The last thing I want is to see you hurt.”
“Whatever. I'm going to join the party. Whenever you're done plotting, why don't you come down.” She spun on her heel and walked briskly down the hall.
Drake frowned slightly as he moved to follow her. I really do want to protect you. But I know that you will only accept what happened if you are forced to face it. There are many things you do not know about your supposed best friend. I am so sorry, Samantha.

Harley sat slumped in the front seat of Jason's Jeep. Behind her, Elijah talked on his phone, attempting to convince his father that Raul was not sitting right next to him.
“I told you, he's off wherever. This party's just for Drake and his friends. He don't even know Raul. Okay?” Elijah rolled his eyes and dropped his head. “Okay, fine, fine. Yea, we will. 'kay. Bye.” He shoved the phone back into his pocket as he growled. “Fuckin' hell. I still don' get why he hates you so much.” He looked to Raul, who giggled silently. “What's so funny?”
“Your dad, man. He meets me once and decides I'm the worst person ever. If I can't laugh about it, I'd be really hurt.”
“I guess. And look, I'm really sorry about it. He was a total jerk.”
“Don' even worry 'bout it. He's not the first 'rent to take an instant dislikin' to me.”
“Are you always this understanding?” Harley asked without looking back.
“What can I say?” Raul winked at Elijah. “Some people are given more leeway than others.”
“We're here,” Jason announced as the Jeep screeched to a stop. “Party time. Everybody out.”

Henry and Carter were sitting by the Olympic-sized in-ground pool, surrounded by a pile of empty beer cans. They were surrounded by gorgeous half-dressed drunk girls that neither boy took notice of.
Carter was anxious for Elijah to arrive after not seeing him since the day Raul had shown up. He was jealous of the new friend and while Elijah had never given him a reason to doubt his loyalty, he knew nothing about Raul or what he was after.
Henry only wanted to see one girl: Samantha. He loved her and had since the day he had met her. And he thought she had felt the same for him but after the way she had treated him, he wondered if she was really as committed to him as he was to her.
“You don't think Sam is...” Henry stopped himself. He did not want to even entertain the thought. Even drunk he was able to keep from saying things he knew would only lead to trouble.
“Only if you think Eli would with Raul.” He crushed the empty beer can and threw it behind him. “This sucks, bro. I know he wouldn't, but... shit, man, I dunno.”
“Neither do I.”
“Why so sad, boys?” Dani asked, coming up from behind and sitting between them. “This's a party and you two look like it’s a funeral.”
“Bad few days,” Carter mumbled. “Need more booze before happy sets in.”
“Alright boys, on it.” She kissed each of them on the cheek before running off towards the patio.
“She seems extra bouncy today. Wonder what's up,” Henry said before finishing his beer.

Her arms full of beer, Dani spun around quick and almost bumped into Samantha.
“Hey, girl. Where you been?” Dani asked, swaying to keep from dropping the beer. “Henry's been lookin' for you.”
“Really? Hadn't heard. Where is he?”
“Over by the pool with Car. They're bein' all emo tonight.”
“Well… you have been ignoring that boy of yours and I guess Eli's been doin' the same.”
“After what you saw, can ya blame me?”
“Nah, I say he deserves whatever you got planned. When you gonna do somethin' anyway?”
“Thought you were takin' care of that?”
“He blew me off the other night. I didn't get a chance to do anything.”
“Wonder who he did.”
“All I know is he an' Car went out.”
“Least I know he didn't fuck him.”

Harley had her arms wrapped around Jason and her hands down the back of his pants. He pressed his hardness against her. She smiled wickedly as her fingers searched for the middle of his ass.
“Really, babe? Here?”
“You are insatiable.”
“Ain't you a lucky boy.”
“I'm goin' before I see something I can never unsee,” Elijah said, backing away. “You two go do whatever. I'll go find a somewhere else.”
“Hold up,” Raul said, reaching for Elijah's arm. “I'll come with.”
“Uh, yea, sure.”
Elijah led him around the house to the backyard as Samantha came around the corner. She almost walked right into the boys.
“Sorry, hon,” she said, realizing who they were.
“You okay?” Elijah asked, pulling free of Raul's grip.
“Yea, just... distracted. Too many cooks in the kitchen, so to speak. Hey, Raul.”
“Hey,” Raul said, nodding. “You leavin' your own party?”
“Why not? The guest of honor hasn't even shown up yet. And I'm not too thrilled with some of the guest list.”
“By the pool. So's Car, by the way. Might wanna let 'im know you're still dating. 'ccordin' to Dani, he's feelin' kinda unwanted.”
“Yea, I know. I really should...” He looked to Raul. “I'll talk to you later.”
Elijah ran off around the corner. Samantha continued on her way to the front lawn.
Raul shook his head. Too much damn drama.

When Samantha walked into her bedroom, she found an unmarked DVD sitting on her bed. Creepy much, she thought as she picked it up. She popped it into the player and sat down.
“Oh. My. Fucking. God.”
